How it works

Two sources, one search box

The search runs in two places at once. The first is Sup’s own directory of tracked creators, the same people who appear on the Creator Directory pages. Every match comes with real follower, engagement and average view figures, a home city and a niche, and a link to the directory page they belong to.

The second is Instagram’s account search. Type what you would type into the Instagram app and you get the same 30 accounts back, with their names, handles and profile pictures. Instagram’s search carries no numbers, so those results open in the analytics tool, which fetches the numbers live for the one you pick.

Search by niche and city

Creators put both in their names and bios. “london food”, “leeds pt” and “glasgow nails” each return the accounts that describe themselves that way.

Search by a single word

One niche word returns the biggest accounts using it, which is a quick read on who owns that space on Instagram.

Search by name or handle

Type a handle or a real name to find one person, then open them in the analytics tool for the full report.

What you get

From a name to a decision in two clicks

Open any result and the analytics tool pulls the live profile: engagement rate placed against creators of the same size, average and median Reel views, posting rhythm, content mix, paid partnerships and top posts. From there the fake follower check and the two calculators are one click each, and they reuse the data already fetched.

That is the whole vetting pass we run before a creator goes in front of a brand. What it cannot show is the creator’s private insights: audience country and age, reach and saves. We ask for those on every booking, and you should too.

FAQ

Influencer search questions

It searches two places at once. Sup’s own directory of tracked creators, which returns real follower, engagement and average view figures for every match, and Instagram’s account search, which returns up to 30 accounts whose name or handle matches your words. Any result opens in the analytics tool with one click.

The 223 creators on Sup’s public Creator Directory pages, grouped by city and niche, with data collected from their public profiles. Every one has a verified home city, a niche, and figures for followers, engagement and average views. The directory grows as new cities and niches are published.

Sup’s directory results show all three figures and are sorted by followers, and the directory pages linked below are already split by city and niche. Instagram’s own search has no filters at all, which is why its results show names and handles only until you open one in the analytics tool.

Instagram’s search returns names, handles and profile pictures, and nothing else. Fetching the numbers for 30 accounts on every search would be slow and wasteful, so the search shows what Instagram shows, and the analytics tool fetches the numbers for the ones you care about.

The words creators put in their names and bios. A niche and a city work best: “london food”, “manchester pt”, “bristol tattoo”. A single niche word returns the biggest accounts using it. A handle or a real name finds one person.

Not yet. Every tool on this page is Instagram only for now. The directory tracks TikTok handles for many of the same creators, and those will follow.

Each directory page shows a curated set and a count of everyone Sup tracks in that segment. The full list comes with a campaign: book a call, tell us the brief, and we shortlist from the whole database rather than from the public sample.

Yes. No sign-up and no email gate. Each visitor can run 20 searches an hour and 60 a day, and searches on the directory cost nothing at all.
