1. Bachi Yaki
With two restaurants already up and running in the city, Japanese-style restaurant Bachi Yaki has just launched in Los Angeles’ Fairfax neighbourhood. Their contemporary menu offers various types of meats on different plates. Bachi Yaki provides customers with the option to enjoy meat plates with rice and vegetables, or wrapped up in a burrito. Open daily from 12pm until 10pm, it’s certainly worth a visit.

2. Menya Tigre
L.A.’s first restaurant solely dedicated to curry ramen, Menya Tigre is a trailblazer. This establishment also offers other delicious meals including keema beef curry, Japanese fried chicken and takoyaki. This groundbreaking venture is open Wednesday to Monday so be sure to pencil it in.

3. Justin Queso’s
Hollywood’s brand new Tex-Mex restaurant has opened up on Sunset Boulevard. Located in an immense 3,800 square foot lot, Justin Queso’s serves up all the Tex-Mex delights you could dream of. From tacos and enchiladas to burgers and wings. This establishment even boasts four different styles of homemade queso. That’s a lot of cheese!

4. Kuya Lord
The latest obsession amidst the underground food scene in L.A., Kuya Lord is an exciting new pop-up serving up Filipino feasts. Run by Lord Maynard Llera, this eatery is run straight out of his home in La Canada-Flintridge and serves up mouth-watering delicacies including slow-cooked chicken and drunken prawns.

5. All Season Brewing Company
Remodeled from what once was the Firestone tyre shop on Miracle Mile, the All Season Brewing Company now offers a purpose-built watering hole. This fun hang-out is dedicated to “good beer, good times and good folks”. Serving up crushable beers brewed especially in their 15 barrel brewhouse, they also offer up food provided by Chicas Tacos, featuring tacos, burritos and much more.

Focussed solely on Southern Italian cooking, dynamic duo Jackson Kalb and Melissa Saka set up Ospi in September 2020. Serving up a delectable collection of house-made pastas, as well as an extensive pizza menu, Ospi takes a prime spot near the Venice boardwalk.
